Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Really took me back
Review: Couldn't put this one down. It took me back to my own teenage years in New York City. I felt like I knew these guys (and gals.) A great book for anyone who was ever a teenager - or would like to be one again - no matter where you grew up. I highly recommend this book and look forward to this authors new endeavors.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A vivid account of teen life in the 1950s.
Review: The characters and details of the 1950s make me wish I had been there. There were guys and girls like this when I was growing up in the 1970s but it was great being inside their world and being one of the gang. I recommend The Vandals to all age groups.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A real picture of a 1950s gang.
Review: We lived in Queens, New York City, where this book takes place, during this era and knew the same type of people as described in the stories. It brought back a lot of memories. We still listen to the songs of those days and have a 1956 pick-up truck. The settings and characters are very real. We highly recommend the book to anyone who was a teen during the 1950s.
