Summary: Horrible. Inaccurate math problems. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK.
Review: I am an ACT tutor. I purchased "Master the ACT" as a study guide for one of my students. The first thing I looked at in the book was the diagnostic section. I went to section two, the math section, and began to take the section. Within the first nine questions, I spotted three VERY significant errors in the book. The section begins on page 39. Question 5 does not have the correct answer listed. The correct answer is three. The explanation in the back mistakenly changes a 1/2 to a 1/4 before squaring the number. Question 6 is wrong. The correct answer should read "all numbers greater than two, and all negative numbers." Question 9 is wrong. The year given in the question does not match the year given in the explanation.

That means that 3 of the first nine questions are wrong. I believe that is a ratio of 1:3.

If the first nine questions of a diagnostic section are that bad, I quiver to think how bad the rest of the book is.

DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK.
