Rating: Summary: ghastly Review: The plot is moderately interesting but the writing is too contrived. It reads like a Regency romance novel with literary asperations.
Rating: Summary: ghastly Review: This story is worthy of sitting next to "A Tale Of Two Cities" in your library. This author places you on the threshhold of the French Revolution with such savvy, you'll feel like you have been transported there. The characters are richly portrayed, and lead you through the events of this bloody era as if you were a compatriot. If you like historical works, I highly recommend this book!
