Summary: Why are there only two titles by this guy? He's terrific!
Review: To coin a 'commercial phrase', I'm a very choosy reader. I don't buy a book because of its intriguing cover, and I don't buy it because of the back jacket blurb. I buy it if the first page captures my interest. Yup. I stand right there in the bookstore aisle and read page one. The Bog Spell got me a good scolding from the guy behind the counter: "Hey, you gonna buy that book, or you plannin' to read the whole thing, right here?" I bought the book. And I loved every page.
