Summary: Beautifully Illustrated .. beautiful language
Review: This book contains the poems written by Lorca for children. I read it frequently to my 4yr old daughter, for whom Spanish is her third language. Many of the words and concepts are well beyond the comprehension a small child, but the sonority of the language is so beautiful - with illustrations to match - that she is mesmerized (so am I) as I read her the poems. We have probably between 50 and 100 children's books in Spanish, and this is one of my favorites.
