Review: Growing up Amish is a scintillating entry into the genre of young adult literature. Its focus is the trials and tribulations of a young amish boy. It has an interesting plot, but its vague literary illusions and simple writing style bog the reader down. Not a bad book--but not great either. Look for the sequel Elizabeth to learn more of our heriones fate.
