Summary: so so
Review: If you take white Fang by Jack London and then butcher it this is what you get. The story was extrodanaire but the writer's writing skills were mediocere. She often boasts her vast knowledge of the klondike in her writing which stands out like a sore thumb. Thier are a few twists and turns, but not many even then. This is a book that is hard to put down while painstaking to read. I was to read this book for a school report and i thought it was below my reading level that might be why i give it such a poor rating. The book includes a love story which leaves you hanging like in the movie the castaway. Other than the love story and a few other things it pretty much remains the same as white fang. If your looking to read a good klondike based novel look into Jack Londons novels or anywhere else but here. The book is about 200 pages which makes for a short read. The book is meant for 5th graders in my own humble opinion and could make a great class read along. There are only a few books which I reserve for my "not worthy of being in my book shelf" section that i have read. I still only wish a worthy author could have taken on such an impressive storyline. The charcters in the book are very good and have such depth to each specific one. The executive publisher should have spent more time on this certain novel to improve the quality of the writing.Good luck on wether you choose or not to choose to read this book, you may need it.

Summary: Bilimptious Book........Must Read!!!!!!!!
Review: The book that i read was Destination Gold! It is about a boy named Ned Turner who travels up to the Klondike. Up there he has a lot of new experiences with a lot of new people. He has a sister named Sarah. She decides to go up there also. There she has tragic events and memorable experiences She meets a girl along the way named Catherine. She is haunted my the nightmare of the day her dad bet her in a poker game and lost. The story is about a young mans journey to persue his dreams of getting gold and happiness for his friends and family. I recommend this book to you because it has a good and interesting plot. It is action-packed, educational, and a very good historical fiction or class-wide reading book.
