Summary: Life As: As a Pregnant Teen staying at a possible cult.
Review: Anne-Marie,had life made, or atleast thats what others might think. To her, life is or 'was' about cheerleading, smoking and fooling around with boys. Yet after being dragged to a youth group meeting and then to a preaching, by Brother Jackson. She immediatly feels a change from the powerful meeting, and starts to change her ways. Feeling some connection between herself and Brother Jackson she returns to him, to talk to him.
A few weeks later, she feels herself very sick, to only find out she is pregnant with Brother Jackson's child. She has a friend drive her to Brother Jackson, so she can tell him of the child. He takes her to a spirtual retreat center while her continues to travel around spreading the word of God. The remainder of the story is of her life at the retreat. I found the book an O.K read, it was a little boring in parts, and i found myself wondering in some parts how anyone could be into a religion so much as Anna. This book seems to end like a Stephen King novel. To say the least, the ending isint very joyful.

Review: Faith Wish is a great book that mature teenaged girls can relate to. AnneMarie, a beautiful, 17-year-old underachiever, has been put on an academic contract and will not graduate with her high-school class - to her dismay. When she attends a tabernacle meeting led by Brother Jackson, a charismatic, handsome self-proclaimed minister, she becomes a true Christian. After discovering she is pregnant with Brother Jackson's child, she turns to him for help, and he takes her to a spiritual redemption camp to find guidance. There, she sheds her old skin and past sins, including sex, drugs, and smoking. Unfortunately, all does not end well, as she struggles to find answers to her dilemna.

Review: I had to read this book for an english report. I thought that the plot of the book was good. The characters seemed realistic to me but then again I dont know many teenagers that would be attracted to a man like Brother Jackson. I was excited to be done with the book thinking that everything would turn our great for Anne-Marie, but I was wrong. After I read the last sentance of the book, I was very disappointed. The ending wasn't anything I had expected it to be. In my opinion, it would be a 5 star book if the ending didnt turn out the way that it did!

Summary: Not good
Review: If I hadn't promised to review this book for our school library, I would have stopped reading after the first chapter. This book is not well written, nor are the characters or subplots believable. I can't think of a single student I have ever had who I would recommend this book to. Very disappointing.
