Summary: Experience a river trip as Lewis and Clark did
Review: I knew Phil Babiak well and, though I was asked, never was able to accompany him on one of his many trips "in the wild." This was always one of my regrets. Reading the book, which is really a compilation of Phils journal during the trip, historical references, etc., I felt as if I was there. Phils describes what he saw, how he felt, knows cold, hunger, comraderie and conflict during the two-man kayak trip in the wilds. A highly engrossing read, reccommended with no reservations!
