Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Angler Profiles
Review: Excellent book on famous fly fishers from Steve Abel to Joan Wulff, with Lefty Kreh and all the rest thrown in. 275 noted fly fishers share their favorite flies (by type), streams (by location), and food recipes (270 total of which 204 are not fish recipes). There is no other book that tells more about the anglers who make the sport what it is today. No other book is so easy to read--with the ability to read about an angler and then pick up the book a few days later without having to start over. Reviewed by U.S. News & World Report, Baltimore Sun and other major media. Review by Ted Leeson says it all. This is a fresh approach to learning about your favorite anglers and the tackle they favor. Passion and food--the twin staffs of life--what could be more revealing or satisfying.
