Summary: It works! It is that simple!
Review: A golf swing that has the right tempo and flows smoothly produces the best shots. In my more than 40 years as a touring professional I've seen many different golf swings. I've seen players with great swings that have a terrible time playing to their potential. I've seen swings that are clearly "home made", but hit the ball beautifly and consistently. Some players seem to be able to get the most out of their abilities while others struggle endlessly. It seems to me that golfers that consistently perform the best are those who have learned to use their mind most effectively. Players spend far too much time analyzing and tinkering with their swing mechanics while they all but ignore the key role that their mind contributes to a successful golf swing or putting stroke.

This easy to read little book focuses clearly and simply on the key mental skills necessary to play one's best golf.

Al Geiberger, Mr. "59", PGA Senior Tour

Review: According to the back cover of this book the author "is playing to a seven handicap from the back tees." There are many single handicap players on our local courses. Seven is not an outstanding handicap. But did any single handicap player in your neighborhood write a book? About their mental secrets? This is a book written like our local hero might write.

The author emphasizes the importance of visualization, preshot routine and preputt routine. I got some good clues from these articles.

I was impressed that he mentioned two kinds of natural hand positions. If we don't know these positions we have to spend a lot of time fixing our shots.

Summary: Easy read. I went through it in a little over an hour.
Review: I enjoyed the short to the point chapters; much like the "Little Red Book" by Harvey Pennick. Good "meat and potatoes" approach to the key mental skills that must be understood and mastered to play one's best golf.
