Rating: Summary: An excellent look at the outdoorsman of the past. Review: I found this book hard to put down. Adirondack Forest & Stream is a book that touches on the facinating history of the rugged outdoor-type people of the adirondacks. It spoke of the era of the loggers with their log drives and large logging camps. The author goes on to talk about fishing for brook trout in the good old days. There are many more topics such as hunting, pilots, canoes, trappers, and old camps to name a few. The book left me with a desire to spend more time in the wilds of the adirondacks. If you enjoy the outdoors, I'm sure you'll enjoy this book
