Rating: 4 stars
Summary: a very good companion to the RVers
Review: This directory has just about all theinfo a person needs to select a campground including last year's prices. We use one other directory in supportof TL's guide. Between the two wehave been able to make some very goodselections.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Not a disparaging word you'll see
Review: Trailer Life does a fluff piece on the campgrounds reviewed. For instance, the VanMall campground in Vancouver WA is rated highly, but the book does not let you know this is more parking lot than campground. Write a disparaging review of a campground for Trailer Life's web-site and it will never appear. If you are looking for a glossed over guide to your camping experience, this is your book. If you want an unbiased, unvarnished description then look elsewhere. We want a book that gives you a true picture of the campground. Does it feel like a parking lot? Are there nice patio areas or a picnic table? Are there places to go walking? Is it noisy? If you are looking for campground advice for Washington State, try Ron Judd's book (he knows how to be honest and descriptive).
