Review: If you want to know almost anything about a ski area located in North America, this is the book. It has everything you could want to know from lift ticket prices to how to get there to phone numbers, to trail maps. No other book is as comprehensive. Even the most obscure of ski areas (as long as they are active) are listed!

Summary: I've used it for years as my personal guide to ski areas.
Review: The White Book of Ski Areas has proven over the years to be the best personal guide to America's skiing that I could find. As a member of the military (and a ski instructor), I never know where I'll be next winter. However, once there, the White Book will guide me to the best skiing to be found within a reasonable driving distance.
