Summary: The book about the hard hittn' mean grinning Chicago Bears
Review: Chicago Bears by Pat Ryan. If you are a bears fan you will like this book, because it's packed full of bears facts and pictures.
This story begins in 1921 when George Halas bought the team and moved too Chicago Illinois. The story continues to present day, and mentions some of the most exciting players in football history.
In 1936, a running back by name of Bronco Nagurski blasted through two taklers, through the end zone, and full speed into the briek retaining wall behind it. Shaking his head, which was covered by a flimsy leather helmet, Nagurski trotted back to the bench and remarked, " That last guy really gave me a good lick." He also pounded out 529 yards rushing during the season.
If you are interested in the history of football then this is a book for you. This book contains
many facts about the uniforms, cost of tickets, plaers salary, as well as the many wins and loses over the years. I think people will really like this book.
