Barry Sheene, 1950-2003: The Biography

Summary: Good read - but short on detail
Review: Well written, good pace.
For a title of "The Biography" it lacks detail, though.

You finish the book quickly and while the stories of the crashes and the early racing were interesting, you realise that it failed to give much info about the man himself, his family, the post-championship period, his non-racing side, business wheeling-and-dealing, personal relationships, etc.

It's very pro-Sheene and the lack of real meat means that you feel good about him but wonder about motivations, thoughts and problems that were barely brushed upon.
