Summary: Too simple for a seasoned climber
Review: I know you can't ask for much from this journal because it's pretty in-expensive but I was a little disappointed.

I ordered this for my boyfriend as a stocking stuffer during Xmas. When I received it with my other orders I almost threw it away because I thought it was a "give away calendar". Have you ever seen them? They're the spiral bound ones that you might get from your insurance agent? The journal was not really a hard cover as it indicated as part of the description.

I do have to mention that it's pretty nifty once you open it up and glance at the contents. I just started climbing this last year so it would be good for me but not for my boyfriend who's a seasoned climber.
