Summary: Refreshing idea, and great gift!
Review: I bought this for my dad for christmas but ended up keeping it for myself... Unlike all other golf books, this one isn't trying to improve your swing, but instead improve your enjoyment of the game. The pressure to perform like Tiger makes many of us forget to enjoy the game for its recreational value and the pleasure of being outdoors. The book encourages golfers to forget their score and concentrate on those things that have made golf such a popular sport.

I especially liked all the old photographs, postcards, and golf history spread throughout the book; it makes it fun for even non-golfers (my wife!). The book is a refreshing look at golf. The authors have a good sense of humor, and a love of the game. Would definitely recommend it.
