Summary: Fun read of a cross-country cycle journey
Review: Pedaling Across America is a fun read for anybody just getting into cycling or contemplating going on an extended bicycle journey.

Three ~50 year olds embark on a bike trip stretching from the Oregon Coast to Virginia Beach. They battle headwinds, traffic, and intense time pressure to complete the trip before one of the riders has to make it back to his job. Amazingly, they complete the entire journey in under two months averaging over seventy miles a day.

The writing itself is of average quality, but it's a quick read and pretty inspiring given the age of the riders. Definitely makes you want to hit the road! Appendix includes equipment list, budget and mileage log.
