Review: i have been searching for a book that would explain in detail about genetics, rearing puppies, buying a breeding dog, etc. well, this is the one! it has answered many of my questions, particularly on nutrition during a dog's pregnancy. deiter fleig, the author, has done a wonderful job. i would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in breeding top quality dogs!

Review: My main problem with this book was that the author suggested breeding a male at 9 months. That is too early, with the number of genetic diseases in the various breeds, it is way too young to breed.

The nutrition information was good. Perhaps with all the new information available since this book was written, the author would change some of his advice. I sure hope so!

Review: This is a very well written and very easy to understand book on how to breed dogs recomend it to anyone who is thinking about breeding
