Rating: Summary: Not too much of interest Review: Well it may be a good book to have hanging around your garage to show your buddies. But i must say that because I live very close to Mario and find it extremely annoying with his helicopter flying over our neighborhood shining spotlights down on us every other day, I don't think I would buy any other books of his because his "greatness" seems to have gone to his head, and he has no loyalty to the people in his hometown. It is apparent in the writing and I think he's ready for a retirement home. He really no longer has anything interesting to write. The ton of pictures in the book say it all.
Rating: Summary: Not too much of interest Review: When I was growing up, Mario Andretti was one of my heroes. When you put Jim Clark and Mario Andretti on the same racetrack, I was in heaven. This book is the ideal coffee-table book about the greatest race car driver of the 20th century but you may want to put your copy in a cabinet like I do (so that it doesn't get damaged). The readers of "Racer" Magazine voted Mario the best. The photography in this book is fantastic, even the older black and whites are clear. If you like racing especially the "good-old-days", then you will love this book.
