Rating: Summary: A book for any baseball fan! Review: A Classic Fall is a great read for any fan of baseball. Well written, very funny, and you will see shades of yourself in many of the moments Rich describes in his book as he follows the Giants pennant race and post-season journey of the 2002 season.I can't recommend it enough.
Rating: Summary: A Classic Book for Baseball Fans Everywhere Review: It is obvious that the author of A Classic Fall, Rich Ryall, is a true baseball fan. What began as a running series of weekly articles on the SF Giants and their trials and tribulations, posted on his website, evolved into a lyrical tribute to his team. The ups and downs, laughter and occasional pathos of the Giants, as they found their stride and made their way through the playoffs and World Series. Rich's observations capture the atmosphere of the ballpark; the excitement of the pennant race and Series. Whether you are a Giants fan in particular, or a baseball fan in general, A Classic Fall is certainly a moving and wonderful tribute to the Great American Game. A 5-Star Read, without question!!!

Rating: Summary: I could feel the suspense Review: Rich Ryall has done a marvelous job recounting the experience of a true baseball fan through a Season, Penant Race, and World Series. I could feel the anxieties, the frustrations, and the elations that such a fan experiences, but more importantly, Ryall has the ability to make every reader understand a fan's love of the game. He has a charming and intelligent wit that all will enjoy, baseball fan or not.
