Summary: Yet another out-of-print Mizerak intro book
Review: As beginner pool books go, this really isn't bad at all, as it covers the basics, and gives reasonable advice about things like position play, frozen-to-the-rail long cuts, banks, etc. But, there are far more comprehensive volumes out there now, such as Play Your Best Pool and Byrne's Standard Book of Pool. This old book here is mostly just a collector's item. The cheezy early-'70s shots of the young Mizerak with big sideburns are priceless.
