Rating: Summary: All you ever wanted to know about Penn State Football Review: We have this book and enjoy it! It is the ideal book for anyone who wants to have every fact about PSU football at their fingertips. Our son used this book as his major resource for his senior term paper and easily had enough information to earn an A+ on his paper. It has every fact available about PSU football, but it is not boring. A funny aside: Our son had had the book for several months before starting his senior year at high school. On the first day of school the new English teacher said, "Put everything away except a piece of paper and a pencil. Now, write a 200 word paper on something in which you are interested." Well, our son had no problem. He quickly had more than 200 words written about his favorite, PSU Football. He had all the facts--the first season, facts about all the great coaches, everything. He was the first student to turn in his assignment. The teacher quickly read over the paper and said, "Greg, from where did you copy this information? I told you this had to come from you, you weren't to copy information!" She was ready to give him a "0" for the paper when a friend spoke up and defended him, saying, "But Miss Blank, you don't understand, Greg has the PSU Football Encyclopedia and if Greg says its so about PSU Football, it's so." The teacher quickly backed down and Greg got an "A" for his impromptu paper. All doubts were finally erased from her mind when Gred turned in his term paper later in the year about PSU Football.
