Rating: Summary: It`s W.A.R. indeed! Review: Clifford Stewart is an accomplished warrior, no doubt about that. His book is well crafted and has plenty of information. Here you can find techniques to protect others or yourself. I as a student of the martial arts appreciate books like this one, the kind that goes straight to the point: It`s W.A.R out there, and we must be ready. My only complaint would be towards Mr. Clifford Stewart himself. Since he wants to prove that he truly is a certified Elite Professional, many pages in this book are filled with his personal anecdotes and pictures, visas from different countries, and certficates from the different martial styles he has studied. And I understand it, I mean, he wants to prove that he is, whom he says he is, and he succedes in that matter, he certainly has worked as personal bodyguard to some really famous people, Stevie Wonder, Larry Flint and Muhammad Ali among others. But I feel that he could shown more combat techniques, more pressure points, locks, knife and gun disarming tchniques and more information on client protection and self defense. All those things considered, it is a really good book, different from the rest of the martial arts books that you`d find in bookstores, regarding personal and client protection , and since it`s written by someone who`s actually been on the battlefield, and has tested his skills over and over again, I can fairly say that it has a special place in my library. W.A.R. is a book made to make you think, to help you increase your knowledge on hand-to-hand combat, to make you aware of your surroundings, to be ready at all times. Mr. Clifford Stewart has many things to offer to us all in the martial arts world...we should pay attention and listen to what he has to say.
