A bigger focus was placed on the incredible and very exciting year the Fighting Illini had back in 1989. That was the year they made it to the Final Four with guys like Battle, Gill, Anderson, Bardo, and Hamilton. Even if you were not a big Lou fan it is still worth reading to relive that awesome year of basketball!
