Review: I would say this is a great place to start your adventures into the world of baseball fiction. Lots of great writers are featured here, and you can definitely follow up with the ones you enjoy most. Many of the stories are touching, magical, and funny -- that they are about such an important subject only make them all the more enjoyable. 8-) Holtzman should know his stuff, by the way -- he's in the sportswriters' wing of the baseball hall of fame. Another good book along these lines is "Writing Baseball," edited by Jerry Klinkowitz.
