Summary: Trite Fluff
Review: As an avid football fan, I was anxious to read about the NFL from another viewpoint. I don't know where to begin with how awful this book was. There were moments when the author attempted to tell poignant stories but they ended up sounding trite and contrived. She shared stories of being an NFL wife but she came off as being the groupie bimbo that she mocked in her book. There was no substance to this book whatsoever. Don't waste your time or money.

Summary: I couldn't put it down!
Review: I loved this book! After years of sports books written by the athletes, it was great to read a book written from a completely different point of view. I picked it up on the recommendation of a friend and I couldn't put it down! Like Melissa, I was sad when it ended, I hope Sally writes a sequel. No fans - especially female football fans - should go without this book! Its also a must read for other professional athletes wives - I'm so glad my friend told me about it!

Summary: Designer Clothes and Egos
Review: This is a bad book. I picked this title up with interestbecause I am a sports fan and have a family member in the NFL. What Igot was bad fiction and poor editing. Most of the "stories" are loose accounts of make-believe characters based on collections of people. There is more discussion of fashion (Donna Karan hosiery does not slip over you calves) and tales of how cool she thinks she is. If you are a sports fan or want a behind the scenes look do not waste your time with this book. Her excitement for the game is displayed by examples like wanting her husband's team (AFC) to win the Pro Bowl because the $20K will allow her to buy a painting of English dogs for the stairwell. The rest reads like her diary or a trashy novel. You will not glean any insights on the daily life of an NFL wife, the Chicago Bears or the NFL here. If you want a good sports book try "You're Okay It's Just a Bruise" by Dr. Huizenga. END
