Summary: Excellent, Excellent Book!
Review: Like all of Ms. Smith's skating books, A Year In Figure Skating is a wonderful, objective view of the 1995-96 season, complemented by gloriously vivid photos, most of which I have never seen in any other skating publication. If you are a fan of the sport this book is a must have.

Summary: Beautiful Book, Especially Grinkov Tribute!!
Review: This is an absolutely gorgeous book, which takes you through all the major competitions in a year of skating. The pictures are fantastic, and there is so much information about skaters. I really enjoyed the chapter about skating in Israel, and I loved the Sergei Grinkov Tribute (note to Katia/G&G fans-this book is worth buying for just that chapter!)!!! I learned so much about skating and competitions. Beverly Smith has a great follow-up to her earlier book, "Figure Skating: A Celebration"
