Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Appeals to golfers and non-golfers alike!
Review: A great book that successfully combines interesting insights into eight golfing "legends", with practical advice on the "game of life". Anne Fisher has done a great job of writing a book that can be enjoyed by both serious golfers and non-golfers alike.

Summary: A Perfect Book.
Review: To say this book is about golf is like saying that David James Duncan's "The Brothers K" is about baseball. Like Duncan, Fisher uses the game she loves to weave a miraculous allegory of life, love, spirituality and family. This is a tight and readable story. The eight golf masters are all protrayed in an intimately human way. Whether or not Fisher has accurately portrayed these personalities (I don't know enough about them to say), she makes them accessible to us, and, through them, teaches lessons about life as well as golf. This book blew me away. I am extremely bummed that it is out of print.
