Review: The Pool Room really seems to enlighten it readers about many of the small insignificant inner-personal exchanges that take place between pool room regulars. It also graphically shows how big money pool matches come about. I especially liked the basic premis of the story line (excellance/perfection). I don't think I have ever seen that premis in any book I've ever read before.
Being a tournament pool player myself, I really enjoyed this book and plan to recommend it to all of my pool playing friends.
