Summary: An insight into Wilt
Review: I happen to be a little bias when it comes to Wilt Chamberlain. He's not only my idol but my uncle too. This book tells it like it is, and as usual Uncle Dippy pulls no punches when letting his feelings be known. A very insightful and very opinionated book. If you dig sports, and hate the craziness surrounding it today, then you're going to love this book.

Summary: An insight into Wilt
Review: Provides an interesting insight into Wilt's mind, the game of basketball, and how it has changed over the years. Wilt is actually quite restrained throughout - I had hoped the book would be a bit more hard-hitting (though he does land a few punches!).

Wilt's comments about the game and its players are a bit dated now, but my only real gripe about the book is that it's so disorganized! (He could have really used a writer to edit and reorganize the material. It takes some effort to slog though seemingly endless meanderings and ramblings.)

At any rate, Wilt will sure be missed; the game today suffers without him!

Summary: Want Some Cheese With That Whine!
Review: Wilt Chamberlain was the greatest basketball player in the history of the game. He was Babe Ruth on the hardcourt. The things he did many years ago can never be taken away from him in life or in death. But there is no reason to whine and complain about everything because a new generation likes to watch a faster, more athletic game of basketball instead of the more structured approach taken by the players decades ago. I read another book by wilt and found him to be a deep, intellegent man who really gets a kick out of making other people angry, but this book did nothing but make me feel bad because I couldn't think of anything good to say about a dead man.
