Summary: Great for beginners and intermediate users!
Review: This was my first workout log and it was an excellent "Guide" as well as a great tool for tracking fitness progress! The book is lightweight & flexible, making it totally convenient. The format is terrific because it has "daily" pages to enter all forms of exercise -aerobics, weights,etc., plus a space for freehand notes. It also has pages where you can enter weekly and monthly goals (very important), as well as memorable milestones on your journey to higher fitness levels! I learned all kinds of things just using this log book -- both about fitness and about myself! That kind of learning is Very Motivating to a beginner! The only things I would add to this log book are: (1) a way to rate (from 1-5) the following: Amount of sleep, fatigue level, pain level, workout "eagerness" & stress level. These factors definitely affect your workout! And,(2)Somewhere to enter before-, during- and after-workout heart rates. Other than that, I would move the definitions of "cool sports lingo" to a page of their own...not at the top of the pages throughout. THIS WAS A VERY GOOD LOG BOOK!! I highly recommend it!
