Summary: Billets to Bow: Sights, Sounds and Smells of Archery
Review: Billets to Bows is an excellent addition to any traditional archer's library. The book's author, Glenn St. Charles, was a craftsmen at creating longbows long before the days of mass production. There was a magic to the era; tall trees, fresh air and bows created with the simplest tools. Billets to Bows also covers the instructional shooting of these creations. There are also chapters on accessories and nostalgia. Lots of cool pictures to help tell the story too. Glenn St. Charles, a distinguished archer in his own right, was the founder of the Pope & Young Club and was also a close friend of the legendary Fred Bear. Hope you like the book.
