Summary: You're on the bull & traveling with riders in this book.
Review: Best nonfiction book about professional bull riders you'll find. Coplon weaves through a bull riders world both in and out of the arena. Be ready to shake the dust off your back when you finish this book--you'll feel like you've been on the back of Bodacious. Coplon makes you feel like you're partners with the top bull riders--Tuff Hedeman, Ty Murray, Cody Lambert, Jim Sharp, and legend Lane Frost. Read how the Professional Bull Riders Assoc. began and will continue to grow for decades. Best rodeo book I've ever read-again and again and again.

Summary: more than a sport
Review: Highly recommended, excellent book about a misunderstood sport. While Rodeo and Bull-Riding fans will enjoy this book, it is a great book for folks not familiar with Rodeo/Bull Riding and the culture that gave birth to it and sustains it. As the PBR circuit grows in popularity it will be interesting to see if the PBR stays true to it's Western Values and Culture. I hope so...

Summary: Simply the best I've read!
Review: I just finished the book and I have to say this is the best I've ever read. If you watch the PBR, you have to buy this book. Donnie Gay, Tuff Hedemann, Ty Murray, Charles Sampson, they are all here.

Summary: roughstock riders point of view
Review: Just finished the hardback version. As a bullrider and saddlebronc rider I have never read anything as painfully accurate about our sport as this book. The only drawback is I couldnt put it down and as i finished I wanted MORE. I hope he writes a second book..because Jeff Coplon knows more about rodeo than some cowboys. NICE JOB.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Finally, a great book about the world's greatest sport
Review: The description that the author gives is so good that everything he was writing about,I could see it clearly in my mind.I know the riders so well that it was amazing how easily he put the characters and their characteristics into words that were so descriptive and easy for any reader to get a clear picture of them in their own mind. I loved the up close and personal touch that Coplon presented in his book.He didn't just present facts that most bullriding fans read over and over in other books.I have to give a thumbs up for not only this awesome book, but also for the awesome writing technique that Coplon used to make the book as great as what it is.If five stars is as high as this book can be rated,I give it five and a half.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great sequence, very well-written
Review: The sequence in which the book is written adds variety and develops a love for the top riders, such as Tuff Hedeman and Ty Murray. I closed the book with a great feeling of satisfaction and felt a yearning to read and learn more. I would recommend this book to anyone with even the slightest interest in bull riding.
