Rating: Summary: Warpaths: The Illustrated History of the Kansas City Chiefs Review: An outstanding read! This book is the perfect resource for any "diehard" Chiefs fan. Warpaths covers the K.C. Chiefs from the troubled beginnings of the AFL, to the present day regime under Gunther Cunningham. It covers plenty of history on how Lamar Hunt began the AFL with the Texans in Dallas, to how the Chiefs came to be in K.C. Warpaths has plenty of coverage of most of the prominent players who have ever played for the Chiefs in the their 40 year history. Also detailed are the coaches who have coached for this outstanding franchise. There are more vintage photos of "old" and "new" Chiefs than you can count. I thoroughly enjoyed Warpaths, and would recommend it to not only an avid Chiefs fan, but also an AFL hisorian.
