Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Hard hitting
Review: There are plenty of books out on soccer hooliganism in England. But this stands out for the simple reason that it is not by some tosser in the south or about supporting some tosser club in the south (Millwall exempted).

Tells you about life for a lot of blokes in Sheffield and how on soccer grounds Sheffield is divided between Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United and unlike Dundee (Dundee and Dundee United) for example there is no way both sets of fans will join up, rather they would stick it into one another as well as the opposing fans.

Some of the things Cowens writes might be bollocks but still a good read for someone who likes a bit of violence and mayhem.
