Summary: Great book for the novice horse owner.
Review: I wanted to know more about how my horses feet are trimmed, and what I could do to keep them maintained and healthy inbetween farrier visits. I was VERY impressed with the quality of pictures, and the ease of explanations for the proceedures being talked about. I have since gone back and used it as a reference tool. It's a book you will use more than once!!

Summary: An excellant source of "how to shoe" for the horse owner!
Review: This book is very well organized and illustrated. It takes you from anatomy to tools needed, how to trim and shoe normal horses and corrective techniques. Photos and descriptions are excellant as well. It is well worth it's small price for a horse owner who wants to trim and shoe their own horses.
