Rating: Summary: This book was a great investment of $20.00. Thanks-Amazon! Review: A great story and book. I have read it and re-read it. I always seem to learn more after each reading. I wish I could have made that 185 day goose hunting trip that was over 3,000 miles from North to South and back to Nebraska.
Rating: Summary: I really like this book. It was an interesting story! Review: I got this book from Amazon.Com and when it came I began to read it. I did not put it down until 4 hours later when I was done. The story was that interesting. I have read it over 20 times since. I enjoy how the story started in Northern Manitoba, went to Southern Manitoba, on to Southeast Texas and finish at Beatrice, Nebraska. I never knew much about those places or how they hunt in those areas. I am looking forward to my birthday because I will be getting another of Dennis Hunt's goose hunting books.
Rating: Summary: This book is super! It is an interesting story ! Review: I have read this book more than 10 times and I learned something new each time. It really opened my eyes to goose hunting. How could a guy hunt 185 days out of a possible 191? I understand he used 16 cases of shells during this trip. That is more than I used in a life time. A great book!
Rating: Summary: This is a very interesting and educational book. Review: Man, did I learn a lot from reading this book! I have read it 10 times already and learn more everytime I read it. It tells about a goose hunting trip that started on August 28, 1996 and ended on March 10, 1997. It started in Churchill, Manitoba for a month, went to Southern Manitoba, on to Southeast Texas and finished up at Beatrice, Nebraska. It talks about different terrains, equipment used, harvests in each place, different methods to hunt these geese. This book was the best I have ever read.
Rating: Summary: Not bad Not Good Review: This is an average book in a subject matter that does not have too many titles to choose from. His style of writing is rather conversational and the book is filled with stories that do not add much to the topic.
