Summary: Excellent book for the beginning student
Review: This is an excellent manual for the beginning student, it does a great job of covering the beginning techniques and essential dojo knowledge and gives a very thorough overview of judo competition and beyond. The only downside is that I wished the techniques had been shown from different angles so the reader could see the little things that make even the basic techniques more effective.
