Summary: Not so useful as supposed
Review: As a martial art teacher, I usually buy books looking for hints coming from reknown martial artists.
Of course Master Hei Long is one of these, but this time he missed the target: this book is "too simple", it shows how to throw punches (just a few kind of punches), with just a lot of illustrations, but with no hints about the REAL deal. In a real fight or in a serious practice you'll need MUCH MORE than this, you need to know when be relaxed, when to tighten your muscles, where aim your punches, how to develop sensitivity, and in this book you'll NOT find all those things.

Summary: A great martial art
Review: I am currently a student under the Black Dragon art (Master Hei Long's style) and found this book to be a great addition to the worlds most powerfull and practical martial art.

Summary: Garbage
Review: this book is a waste of money and paper. i bought it thinking that it would teach me something that wasnt obvious to everyone that knows how to throw a punch. it didnt. it used about 6 punching techniques and added a spinning motion to them. wow! that really helped me alot. actually it didnt.there isnt anything super about these punches. they are regular, chambered, karate style punches. dont get robbed, i already got robbed for you.
