Summary: An excellent guide for a minor league baseball tour
Review: Judith Blahnick and Phillip S. Schulz's Mud Hens and Mavericks: a New Illustrated Travel Guide to Minor League Baseball is an excellent resource for information on minor league touring. Each team receives a two-page spread which includes team history, attendance figures, directions to the ballpark, ticket information, and photos of the park and its features. The last chapter presents suggested itineraries. The book has one shortcoming; it does not cover the short-season leagues like the New York-Penn League
