Rating: Summary: A good book for beginners Review: I am posting this review under my real name, unlike some who choose to use a pseudonym.I purchased this book and found it entertaining. It is not intended to be a guide for the advanced pool player, but rather a primer for someone who knows very little about the game. For the record Francine Crimi is a certified "Master Instructor" and has worked very hard to achieve that status. She has been a pro player for many years and a respected teacher. If you enjoy watching the WPBA ladies on ESPN you should thank Ms. Crimi as she, along with others, worked tirelessly when this association was first formed to make it the success it is today. Sincerely, The real Wally Phillips
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: I'm not sure what everyone is babbling on about in their reviews, but someone clearly has a personal vendetta out there. The book is wonderful. It is not supposed to be some big fancy pool book. It is simple, clear, and most importantly, I am now playing pool with confidence. Many thanks to the authors!

Rating: Summary: An amateurish effort Review: There is a definite lack of original material in this book. As I have almost all the pool books published in the last 20 years this new entry seems to offer slim pickings for any enthusiasts out there. But hopefully this is the authors' debut effort and the next edition will be far more complete. Also the graphics and diagrams can use a great amount of sprucing up.
Rating: Summary: I like this book laree laree mutch! Review: This the best billard book ever publish in Senegal. and I only pays 7 us dallar. thank cur larre mutch.
Rating: Summary: Not the most useful pool book Review: With a plethora of quality pool publications that appeared in the last ten or so years, I find this effort rather unoriginal and uninspiring.
It has that "something borrowed, something plagiarized..." feel to it.
Caveat Emptor!
