Review: The book is very informative and should be a useful guide for young women, especially. The picture selection for the women left something to be desired. Many of the photos show the women in action , however, in very unflattering positions. This book provides and easy reference for anyone who needs proof that the history of women in sport is varied, accomplished and worth the attention of the sports minded public.
