Summary: good scource of information
Review: I found this book very useful. You can look up most lakes in Washington. It provides lake/stream size, drainage, elevation, county, and type of fish present in lakes and streams. However, it is outdated somewhat. Catch size and limits have changed over the years since the book was published. But then it it wasn't written to replace the rules and regulations that Washington State fisheries seems to modify on a whim. Also Washington state fisheries has killed off some of the lakes and replanted with certain species only. The book still has many useful sections. I reconmend it be used to supplement the anglers library.

Review: I live in Washington and do a lot of fishing here and was looking for a book to supplement the spots I already knew. This book didn't help much. While it does provide extensive listings of spots, it's obvious the author has never been to many of them. Directions to most locations are inaccurate leaving you driving around in frustration. Additionally, the access listed isn't always correct. Do not rely on this book to guide you - it's best used as a supplement. Lastly, the book describes many locations with "great" fishing for certain species but he obviously never checked the state regulations - many species you aren't allowed to fish for, and haven't been able to for years! Look elsewhere for information on great Washington fishing - take it from a native!
