Summary: It's an ok book on Alaskan fishing
Review: This book has quite a bit of entertaining information about sportfishing in Alaska. However it is lacking in detail, just describing only well known areas. It doesn't tell about how to fish in Alaska but basically tells about different areas of the state and what fish they produce. There is no real explanation of effective fishing techniques, baits, or flies. It does have a fairly good explanation of all the common sportfish found in the state and the part about salmon does a good job describing the different characteristics of different species. Overall in my opinion the useful information is rather sparse. It also doesn't really list any regulations for the state. There are better books out there on this subject.
