Summary: Aussie Bass Fishing
Review: Bethune on Bass is not so much a definitive guide to fishing for Australian Bass as it is a narrative of John Bethune and a selection of the trips, images, characters and stories that are Bass fishing to him. It does detail some locations, touches on methods and some how-to's but don't expect it to turn you into an expert. Do expect it to instill an enthusiasm for the Australian Bush, and the bronze battler that it is centered around. Coming from the North Coast and then living in Sydney it gave me real enthusiasm to get out in the creeks around and in Sydney and has been the sole reason behind many memorable Fishing trips. I highly reccommend this book to anyone interested in camping and fishing on the East Coast of Australia for the Australian Bass.

Summary: GREAT READ FOR BEGINNERS AND PRO'S ALIKE
Review: This book is a great read whether you're just learning to fish for the Australian Bass or if you've been fishing for them for years. There is no formal text as such on how to fish for Bass but there are several of the authors adventures, and the reader must evaluate what the author has experienced to learn anything from it. Great photos of the Australian bush and places where very few people would ever venture as well as some beautiful photos of the books namesake.
