Review: Lightner's ALL ELEVATIONS UNKNOWN is beautifully written and so descriptive that you can feel the jungle humidity on your skin and experience the hardships encountered by the climbers and crew as they seek the formidable mountain. He cleverly entwines the experiences of a WWII officer who lived in the same harsh environment as he orchestrated the Borneo battle against the Japanese. The book is an adventure--one that only a few people would be brave or hardy enough to endure.

Review: This is a great book for anyone who enjoys adventure or military history..Lightner goes where few would dare and gives the reader a taste for some of the worlds most remote jungle..He also incorporates a fascinating story of the allied forces ground action in Borneo during World War Two..The blending of the two stories keeps the action fast and tight..If you have any sense of adventure you'll have trouble putting this book down..Buy it, you'll like it!!!
