Review: Pro Muskie Fisherman Pete Maina makes his latest foray into the book writing biz. While his first effort, Muskies Suck, was in large measure a humorous memoir on the trials and tribulations of an angler hooked on muskies, Muskies Maina Style offers a little bit of everything-techniques and tactics, how Pete approaches some of the country's finest muskie waters (complete with maps), as well as some often brutally honest personal history of his early years in the muskie business and his thoughts on the state of the sport today. Muskies Maina Style is highly informative, often funny (usually at the author's expense), always heartfelt, and presented in a uniquely unselfconscious and easygoing style-in other words, pure Pete.
