Summary: A good reference, but poor instruction manual.
Review: If you are new to Judo, this book will give you a flavor of the many different techniques you will learn, as well as the history of judo and grade requirements for advancement. Don't look to it as a teaching manual. The techniques are only briefly described and the illustrations are sometimes difficult to follow. It is a good reference, though.
